RECIPE: Charleen's Salad

INGREDIENTS
• 200 g (250 ml) BIO-WHEAT™ Whole Wheat Kernels
• 5 – 10 ml salt
• 25 ml sugar
• 5 ml curry
• 2 ml turmeric
• 225 g (1 tin) peach slices, chopped
• 1 green pepper, chopped
• 1 onion , chopped
• 125 ml oil
• 25 ml vinegar
• 100 ml chutney
method:
In a large pot, combine rinsed wheat berries and 2 cups (500 ml) water. Cook wheat berries until tender (45 min – 1 hour). Drain and add salt. Add chopped peaches, green pepper and onion to berries. Mix remaining ingredients together and heat on stove or in microwave for 2 minutes.
Pour sauce over berries and mix.
Serves 6 – 8
